Your privacy
The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell your data, and the site sets no cookies. Last updated October 3, 2026.
What we collect
Newsletter
When you subscribe, we collect your email address. It is stored and processed by our newsletter provider, Beehiiv, and used only to send you Training Data Daily. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all emails.
Analytics
We don't currently use analytics. If we add it, we'll use a cookie-free service that doesn't track you across websites, and update this page first.
Advertising
Sponsor placements are plain links. We don't share any information about you with sponsors; if you click an ad, the sponsor's own privacy policy applies on their site.
Server logs
Like every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are kept only for a short period.
Fonts
Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google states that it doesn't use this to profile you.
Your preferences
If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
Cookies
Training Data Daily itself doesn't set any cookies.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your personal information.
- We don't share your email address with advertisers or sponsors.
- We don't track you across other websites.
Links to other sites
Every story links to its original publisher. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave Training Data Daily.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you, including removing your email address from our list. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have further rights. Email hello@trainingdatadaily.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Training Data Daily is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
